Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

You know that feeling when something just lights you up like fairy lights at Christmas? Yeah, that was me recently. The last thing I got ridiculously, embarrassingly excited about was… drumroll… a package arriving. Yep. Not a holiday, not a lottery win, not even Ryan Reynolds turning up at my door (although, Ryan, if you’re reading this—don’t be shy). No, it was a box.

But here’s the thing: when you’re waiting for something you really want, that cardboard cube might as well be a treasure chest. I ripped into it like a kid with no patience at Christmas morning. And there it was—sparkly, perfect, exactly what I’d been waiting for. My inner magpie squealed.

It’s funny how excitement doesn’t always have to be about big, life-changing moments. Sometimes it’s the little things—like glittery boots, a book you’ve been dying to read, or that snack you’ve been craving all week—that just flip your mood upside down.

So tell me, what was the last little thing that had you ridiculously excited? Because I refuse to believe I’m the only one who treats Amazon deliveries like they’re sacred gifts from the universe.

Want me to add a cheeky image idea to go with this post, like a cartoon of someone worshipping a cardboard box?
