First impression: this book feels heavier than the ones before it

Light Bringer is one of those books that immediately feels different from the moment it starts.

I finally finished Dark Age, and honestly… I feel like I need a full emotional recovery period before I even think about touching the next book.

Okay. Deep breath.

Because HOW is it possible that this series just keeps getting better?

Every time I think, right, this is the peak, it climbs higher. And Iron Gold? It doesn’t just climb. It shifts the entire ground beneath your feet.

If the original trilogy was fire and fury and rebellion, this book is the fallout. The consequences. The messy, complicated, uncomfortable “now what?”

Just a heads up to all my readers all these reviews have been audiobooks. I don’t read them. I listen for a more immersive experience.

By the time I reached Morning Star, I already thought I loved this series. Turns out? I hadn’t even scratched the surface.
