A house viewing during a snowstorm sounds like a bad idea. Staying overnight in a house whose previous owner vanished without a trace sounds even worse. Add a collection of recorded therapy sessions, and you have the kind of mystery that makes it very difficult to stop listening.

I’m not going to lie, I needed a little help putting all the pieces together after listening to The Coworker. The story jumps between what is happening now and emails that gradually reveal more about the characters, and there were moments when I lost track of how everything connected.

I’ve finished another Freida McFadden book, and honestly, she’s done it again. I loved The Teacher. I’ve enjoyed every single one of her books I’ve read so far, so I probably shouldn’t be surprised, but it’s still lovely to finish another one and feel that she hasn’t disappointed me.
