Bonfire night or as it was formally known as Guy Fawkes night is celebrated on November 5th.

In the year 1605 a gentleman named Guy Fawkes took it upon himself to try and assassinate King James the I by putting gunpowder underneath the House of Lords, dude me to the fact that he had survived the attack on his life King James announced that this night would be a day celebrated as the day Guy Fawkes failed 

In the celebrations of Guy Fawkes demise people would light bonfires and set off amazing firework displays around the country and this soon became a tradition which is still present today, some people make a scarecrow and burn it on the bonfire to why people called it Guy Fawkes night for many years in consideration to him but eventually the name fizzled out and it became Bonfire night for all the bonfires lit to brighten up the sky’s

Now this is a wonderful night full of great wonderful things fireworks bonfire and sometimes their are fairs n rides to try and earn some money from the night but please a message to all young children adults and basically anyone reading this on bonfire night please be sensible don’t do anything would harm yours or anyone else’s life in the process stay safe and away from any fireworks that are being set off
