Autism Awareness day is a day recognised around the world helping awareness with people who are on the Autism Spectrum.
World Autism Day was first passed as day in November 1st 2007 but wasn’t accepted until the 18th December of that year. It was first thought of to be a celebrated in Qatar by her Highness Sheikha Moza and her fellow of her fellow members who worked with her.
Autism is a disability with either a severe or mild end of the spectrum if you are on the mild side you are able to go places sometimes unaided yes you get a different view of the world but you can understand what’s going on, however if your on the severe end of the spectrum you usually are unaware of what’s going on your mental age can be shortened so you could be 27 with the mind set of a child still, you won’t be able to disperse a 5p from a £5 note and you would tend to have to have 24/7 supervision in case you harm yourself or god forbid another person.
