Ok so by now you know I’ve been doing the #Big30Archive interviews for a while now and I’ve loved every single interviewee – I genuinely do – but there is something really special about Ricky and Jenny
They spoke a lot about how they both got involved with Heart n soul. They have lots of amazing memories of Do Your Own Thing and Allsorts – one of Ricky’s memories was of a guy at Allsorts who’s name I can’t remember unfortunately, but he would beat Ricky at chess time after time.
Jenny spoke about the first time she went to a Squidz Club – she said when she walked in she didn’t know what to expect, but by the time she left she loved it.
Ricky and Jenny sent Heart n Soul a video they had made. To our surprise they had done a remake instrumental cover of a song called The Sabrin made by The Fish Police – it’s awesome!
Both Ricky and Jenny spoke a lot about co – op living. Now Cherry and I didn’t know anything about this so we were both really interested but it did seem like it was a little bit complicated.
So now Is when I say I’m not going to say much more about it and let you go and listen to their interview when it’s at the London Metropolitan Archives and on The Big 30 website http://www.thebig30.com.
Ricky and Jenny were so organised they brought a spider diagram of everything they wanted to cover, so they made sure they remembered to mention everything.
All that’s left for me to say is thank you very much to Ricky and ready for being part of the Heart n Soul #Big30 interview process.
