What can I tell you about The Fish Police – wow they are busy guys. They’ve been on tour all around the UK and overseas, they’ve performed in New York and Turkey.

When asked what has been your most memorable moment whilst being part of The Fish Police Dean said it was when they were live on air at a radio station – apologies the name of the radio station escapes – me but Matt let out the biggest trump Dean found this really funny.

The Fish Police also spoke about the time they performed at the Paralympic opening ceremony in 2012. Charles said that when he started playing his guitar he forgot to switch on the speaker until roughly about halfway through the song – however as true professionals they carried on.

Now we come to Andrew, the fish police drummer. I don’t know Andrew as well as I know the rest of The Fish Police as he is the newest member of the band, but he is an energetic guy with a high personality and the rest of the guys say that Andrew completes the band perfectly.

When we first started the interview we were just trying to figure out the best way to get Matt involved and started off just asking in the questions we asked everyone else, and then we thought it would be better if Charles re-asked Matt the questions as he knows the best way to get Matthew to speak a little more. Even though that was a little bit better he still wasn’t talking as much, so we thought of asking him to play some music with his guitar.

So in this interview we have an epic piece of guitar playing from Matt – trust me it’s amazing.

To find out more about this interview you will need to go to the London Metropolitan Archives or The Big 30 website in July and listen to it, along with the rest of the archive interviews.

All that’s left for me to say is thank you to The Fish Police for being part of the heart and soul #Big30Archive process.
