Chapters on Wheelz

On Tuesday the 18th of July, as par tof the heart n soul takeover for the #Big30Archive project. Heart n Soul have been doing live internet shows. 

When I first found out this was happening I was really excited. When Cherry called me we set a date for me to do my live show and cherry explained that she’ll be there but isn’t allowed to be heard, she also said that the topic and guests was all my choice. I’ll be honest with you the nerves did start to set in I did start to question myself “can I do this?”
The original guests I wanted to interview were unavailable. So I needed to have a rethink this took me a few days, I was thinking 24/7 who could I choose?

Then the idea came to me that I could interview the Shape Arts youth forum that I’m part of. It would work brilliantly as they’re always asking what it is I do.
When I mentioned to them what I was doing they were all up for helping me. However as time went on some of them had other commitments on the day.
So in the end the show is me and Sam Castell-Ward, flying the flag for the youth forum. Now we knew we were going to do a show and we were going to make it sound good, but what we did know was what we were going to be putting in it, until the planning session 3-4 on the day. AKA Radio on the fly!! So we had one hour to plan the whole show.
The first thing we thought about was the playlist, it was the songs that we came up between the two of us, that gave us the name for our show Summer vs serious was born.
I picked the summer tunes and Sam picked the serious one, picking the playlist was a laugh in itself.

Then the other sections I’ll be honest I can’t remember what talk was in all the section. I do remember me telling Sam that I wasn’t a fan of most of the series songs.
The playlist gave us most of the subjects we spoke about.
A section about love where Sam played a song about heartbreak and the sad side to relationships, and I played love story by Taylor Swift.
After a while we decided to sometimes talk in between songs, other times we would choose to play two songs back to back to give ourselves more breathing space.
Whilst all this was going on I was on Facebook live at the same time, by accident we realised that the fans on Facebook live we’re getting a behind the scenes view of the show which was cool.
