If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

If I could host a dinner party and anyone I invited was guaranteed to turn up? Oh, the power. The drama. The potential awkward table conversations!
Honestly, I wouldn’t waste this opportunity on being modest. This is my fantasy dinner, and we’re going full glam, full weird, full chaos.
Let’s set the scene. I’ve got a long sparkly table (naturally), tea flowing like wine, and I’m wearing something with sequins because I deserve it. You with me? Good.
Here’s who’s pulling up a chair to my fantasy feast:
1. Beyoncé
Yes, the Queen herself. I don’t care if she only eats a single almond and stares into the distance like a beautiful statue, I want her there. I’d serve her mashed potatoes and ask her about every outfit she’s ever worn. If she brings her own lighting team? Even better — we all look stunning in Beyoncé-glow.
2. David Attenborough
To narrate the whole evening like a nature documentary.
“And now, we observe the awkward moment when Beyoncé politely refuses the Yorkshire pudding…”
Iconic. He can sit next to me.
3. My Nan (if she could come back for one evening)
She’d 100% ask Beyoncé if she goes to church and offer her a Werther’s Original from her handbag. Nan deserves a spot at this table for keeping it real and always having tissues up her sleeve.
4. Gordon Ramsay
To cook, obviously. But also to cause a bit of chaos. I want him shouting about overboiled carrots while David Attenborough calmly explains his migratory pattern. Balance.
5. Mo Gilligan
Because I need someone who’ll laugh at my jokes. Also, someone has to keep the mood light when Gordon starts interrogating the gravy.
6. Adele
No explanation needed. She’s Adele. She’ll sing after dessert, we’ll all cry, and someone will definitely try to hug her too hard. (Probably me.)
7. A surprise chair — for YOU
Because this wouldn’t be any fun without someone to laugh with about the fact Beyoncé just asked where the toilet is and Mo Gilligan offered to walk her there like a school hall monitor.
Would dinner even get eaten with all this energy in the room? Who knows. But I do know it’d be the night of all nights.
So tell me:
Who would you invite to your ultimate dinner party? Are you thinking dead or alive? Celebs or your mates? Historical chaos or TikTok fame?
