Here’s a detailed, spoiler-free review for Broken Dove by Dani Francis:

I have officially finished Broken Dove on Audible and WOW. I genuinely do not know how I’m supposed to move on from this book.

This sequel somehow managed to be even more emotional, intense, and addictive than Silver Elite. From the very beginning, the story throws you straight back into the chaos of the Continent, but this time everything feels darker, more dangerous, and far more personal. The stakes are higher in every possible way — politically, emotionally, and romantically.

Sunrise on the Reaping — A Heartbreaking Return to Panem

There are some books you enjoy… and then there are books that completely take hold of you, leave you emotionally wrecked, and make you stare at the wall after finishing the final page.

For me, Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins was exactly that.

Mockingjay Broke My Brain… and Honestly I Still Don’t Know How I Feel About It

I have officially finished listening to Mockingjay and honestly? My emotions are all over the place.

This audiobook had me switching sides every five minutes. I went from loving Peeta to hating Peeta to wanting to hug Peeta. Then Gale would suddenly say something smart and I’d be like “okay maybe I do like Gale,” and then two chapters later I wanted him to stop talking immediately. I genuinely don’t even know what to think anymore.

Catching Fire: The Sequel That Quietly Turned Up the Heat

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is one of those sequels that quietly upgrades everything without trying too hard. It doesn’t scream “look how intense I am”—it just is.

The Book That Grabs You and Refuses to Let Go

If I had to describe The Hunger Games in one sentence, I’d say: this book grabs you almost immediately and then refuses to let go. It is one of those stories where even if you already know the basic idea, actually reading it still hits harder than expected.

Light Bringer: Pierce Brown Takes Red Rising Somewhere New

First impression: this book feels heavier than the ones before it

Light Bringer is one of those books that immediately feels different from the moment it starts.

Dark Age Review: Brilliant, Brutal, and Completely Unforgiving

Iron Gold: The Red Rising Sequel That Changed Everything

Okay. Deep breath.

Because HOW is it possible that this series just keeps getting better?

Every time I think, right, this is the peak, it climbs higher. And Iron Gold? It doesn’t just climb. It shifts the entire ground beneath your feet.

If the original trilogy was fire and fury and rebellion, this book is the fallout. The consequences. The messy, complicated, uncomfortable “now what?”

Morning Star by Pierce Brown: The Audiobook That Finished the Trilogy Strong

Just a heads up to all my readers all these reviews have been audiobooks. I don’t read them. I listen for a more immersive experience.

By the time I reached Morning Star, I already thought I loved this series. Turns out? I hadn’t even scratched the surface.

Golden Sun – The sequel that absolutely ruined me (in the best way)

by Pierce Brown

Book 2 in the Red Rising Saga

Okay. Let’s talk about Golden Sun.

The further I get into this series, the more I love it — and I didn’t think that was even possible after Red Rising. But somehow, this book doesn’t just continue the story… it expands it, deepens it, and then calmly sets everything on fire while you’re still emotionally attached.

Red Rising by Pierce Brown — Spoiler-Free Review

Red Rising is one of those books that feels bigger than it first appears. It’s marketed as sci-fi, sometimes lumped in with dystopian fiction, but it reads more like an epic rebellion story driven by emotion, strategy, and raw ambition.
