RoundhouseA few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go to the Roundhouse as part of a course with Shape Arts. We went there to do a workshop in radio production. We learnt how producers plan their shows and had the opportunity to pretend to put our own show. Me, Kerry and Mackinlay worked together, we called our show the ‘Third Wheel’ to turn it on it’s head as only 2 of us are in wheelchairs.

The Roundhouse Radio is on 24 hours a day, so the one question we all wanted to ask was how they get young people to work 24 hours a day. Then they explained to us about the playlist. Basically at a certain time to let people rest they set a playlist to play until the next show starts.

Us 3 girls still want to do our own show in the future but at the moment time is a factor, but watch this space!
