The Book That Gave Me a New Favourite Cowboy

There are some books you enjoy, and then there are the ones you simply can’t stop listening to. Reckless by Elsie Silver was definitely one of those books.

After loving the previous books in the Chestnut Springs series, I had high expectations going into Reckless. Thankfully, it didn’t just meet them—it exceeded them. From the very first chapter, I was completely invested, and before I knew it, I’d finished another five-star audiobook.

When I started Powerless by Elsie Silver, I wasn’t expecting a problem.

The problem was Jasper.

You see, Cade Eaton has been sitting comfortably on the Chestnut Springs book boyfriend throne for quite some time now. No serious challengers. No real competition. Just Cade, minding his own business and holding onto the crown.

🤠 Send Help. I’ve Fallen for a Fictional Cowboy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars

Sometimes a book comes along that completely lives up to the hype, and Heartless by Elsie Silver was one of those books for me.

In fact, I started this audiobook at 5am and finished it before lunchtime. If that’s not a sign that a book has me hooked, I don’t know what is.

Why Did I Wait So Long to Read Flawless by Elsie Silver? (⭐⭐⭐⭐☆)

Sometimes a book comes along at exactly the right time, and for me, Flawless was one of those books.

After spending so much time reading fantasy and mystery novels, it was refreshing to pick up a contemporary romance that was easy to follow, engaging, and simply fun to listen to. I went into this audiobook looking for a change of pace, and it ended up being exactly what I needed.
